This site was another collaboration with the skilled team at Tuff, who handled the design.
I was not the site designer, however, I was responsible for the complete development, utilizing WordPress and applying extensive customizations through PHP and JavaScript, including modifying existing PHP files to meet the project’s specific needs.
The Details
For the predictis data site, we needed to combine a highly customized design and layout with a back end that could be easily maintained and edited by the predictis team.
To achieve this within deadlines, I leveraged the Enfold theme on WordPress, creating custom features and ensuring adherence to mockup layouts through CSS, JavaScript, and modifications to existing PHP code.
The Solutions
To meet all the designers’ requirements, I utilized a variety of tools and implemented key functionalities into the site, including the following:
1. Custom Page Features
Custom scrolling sections, additional element overlays, and sticky submenus are some of the features added to this theme. Accomplished with CSS and Javascript.
2. Custom Blog Display
We needed custom animations and display of each blog entry, with the ability to categorize entries and display category specific icons and information. I accomplished this with custom keyframe animations and javascript overlaid on existing blog menu elements from the theme itself.
3. Pixel Perfect Design
I translated the Figma mockups into responsive, high-fidelity web layouts, ensuring precise alignment, consistent spacing, and adherence to typography and color schemes. Through browser testing and manual QA checks, I verified visual consistency and functionality across all modern browsers. Every detail was refined to match the original design vision, delivering a polished and professional user experience.
The Result
The final site delivered a seamless blend of custom design and functionality, closely matching the original mockups while remaining easy for the predictis team to update and maintain. Its polished, pixel-perfect layout and interactive features provided an engaging user experience.
